The Shire has had a few queries over the last week regarding a perceived policy change on verge maintenance. There has been no policy change to date. Council are considering the level of service the Shire provides for verges, in particular, rural verges. The matter is to be considered further before a determination is made, and will include an analysis of resources to carry out the various maintenance options such as spraying, and slashing.
