Youth Centre

The Boddington Youth Centre is a safe and supervised space for young people aged 10 and above (children under 10 are welcome when accompanied by parent or guardian) to hang out, learn new skills, connect with other young people and try a wide range of activities. Programs are free unless otherwise stated and will be facilitated from the Centre.

The team delivers programs and activities during the school term, as well as during the school holidays, from the Centre, Old School Oval and across other local venues. During the school holidays the Centre takes pride in partnering with community groups, sporting clubs and other organisations to deliver memorable experiences for young people.

Facilities include:

  • Sport and art equipment
  • Pool table and table tennis
  • Kitchen
  • Hang out space
  • Theatre Room
  • Computer Room
  • Kiosk
  • Bikes

The Centre is a smoke, alcohol and drug-free venue.

Opening Hours

Program information, including current opening hours, can be accessed by viewing the Event Calendar. Below is a general guide of when the Centre is open:

School Term: Tuesday & Thursday's, 3pm-6pm

School Holidays: Tuesday-Friday, 10am-2pm

Location

The Centre is nestled between The Boddington Community Resource Centre, Hotham Park and Boddington Library. Access is by footpaths from Bannister Road or Wuraming Avenue.

Become a Member

A parent/guardian is required to visit the Centre in-person and register the young person during opening hours. This is a great opportunity for the parent/guardian and young person to meet our friendly team and feel supported with any additional needs. Becoming a member is free and registration remains current for the remainder of the financial year.

Parents are welcome to visit the Centre to see how it runs, stay for a while or attend a whole session. Parent support is always appreciated.
