Last week over 50 people attended a community BBQ to celebrate turning on the lights at Hotham Park for the first time.
Last year the ribbon was officially cut for the Hotham Park redevelopment and the state-of-the-art facilities have proven to be a success for residents and visitors to connect, be physically active and take pride in Boddington’s natural assets.
The installation of lights will now provide additional opportunity for residents and visitors to make use of the fantastic facilities in the evening and is well-timed in the lead up to the summer months.
The project illustrates the partnership between the Shire of Boddington with South32 Worsley Alumina and Newmont to deliver projects that provide benefit for the whole community.
Thank you to South32 Worsley Alumina and Newmont for their support of the lighting project, and may the community continue to enjoy the facilities at Hotham Park.
