The Shire is continuing to advocate for upgrades to enhance the safety and efficiency of Pinjarra Williams Road. Recently, the Shire held a productive meeting with representatives from Main Roads WA to advocate for the installation of passing lanes between Boddington and Dwellingup.
The discussions were very positive, with Main Roads WA acknowledging the necessity of these upgrades, and noting the need to improve this route for all users.
While there is still work to be done, the Shire is encouraged by Main Roads WA's recognition of the issues and their willingness to engage in discussions about potential solutions. We will continue to work closely with the State Government to ensure that this project remains a priority, and progress further advocacy with Local Members of Parliament.
