The Shire of Boddington has a big roadworks program this year. It is anticipated the work will proceed as follows:

  • Harvey Quindanning Road: a new section of one kilometre will be constructed, starting in early February.

  • Crossman Road: a section of one kilometre will be reconstructed and widened, approximately from Days Road going towards Albany Highway, starting in March.

  • Lower Hotham Road: a section of approximately five kilometres will be widened and stabilised, from Pinjarra-Williams Road, starting in March.

  • Various reseal works will take place in late February within the town of Boddington and Ranford.

New EV Chargers

As part of a Grant for local government fleet, the Shire has installed two new EV chargers. One has been placed at the rear of the Shire office and the another at the Shire depot. This is part of the Shire's program to upgrade the fleet with electric vehicles in the future.

Recreation Centre Garden Bed Makeover

The garden bed outside the Recreation Centre had a recent makeover with some TLC and a good layer of mulch. The work has made a significant difference in making the space more welcoming.

Installation of New Signage

Several signs around town have recently been replaced, with more scheduled for replacement and installation in the coming weeks.

The sign pictured is located on the corner of Bannister Marradong Road, and Albany Highway.
