The Shire is happy to announce that it has secured $50,000 funding through the WA Bicycle Network Grants program for the Club Drive Shared Path project. The 430m construction project will complete a critical link in the Shire’s path network, providing a connection between the current path on Club Drive and Hakea Road. A design has been finalised that includes drainage works, earthworks, concrete footpath, concrete curbing, and rock pitching. This important shared path project has been identified as a priority in the Local Bicycle Plan.
The path will provide a safer route for children accessing the Boddington District High School and the many walkers and bicycle riders who currently use the Club Drive road or gravel verge.
