Home to diverse facilities and an abundance of natural attractions, the climate and lifestyle position, Boddington is a community of choice to host events. The Shire is pleased to welcome the Peel District Cycling Club to host the 2022 Peel Classic in Boddington which is expected to bring 500 visitors to town on Sunday, 16 October.
The 2022 Peel Classic comprises an on-road cycling race which also includes the AusCycle WA State Championship.
From an event hub based at Boddington Old School Oval, cyclists will head south along Bannister-Marradong Road, Lower Hotham Road and Harvey-Quindanning Road to Quindanning, before using Pinjarra-Williams Road and Bannister-Marradong Road to return to Boddington.
Traffic management will be in place along Bannister-Marradong Road, Pinjarra-Williams Road, Harvey-Quindanning Road and Lower Hotham Road between 8am and 1pm on Sunday, 16 October. Drivers are asked to allow additional travel time and be courteous of all road users.
