The sealing of the Town Hall Carpark and Peppercorn Lane is currently underway as part of the Town Centre Revitalisation project. This work includes the installation of a stormwater drain, which will require the temporary relocation of seven rose bushes from the gardens outside the Town Hall. Once the drainage work is completed, six rose bushes will be replanted in their original garden bed, while one will be relocated to Memorial Park.

Historic Roller Display Project Approved

The Council has endorsed an exciting new project to showcase Boddington's local history by relocating and displaying the historic roller. The roller will be moved to a public-facing location on the east side of the Old Roads Board building. A protective shelter will be constructed, and interpretive signage will be installed to provide visitors with insights into the roller's role in local roadworks history.

Main Roads WA has advised that the microsurfacing works scheduled for Bannister Road in the town centre, initially set to begin on Saturday, 8 February, are now estimated to commence on Thursday, 20 March.

Exciting progress is being made at Ranford Pool. The car parking modifications are now complete, increasing the number of car bays. A new seasonal fire pit has been installed, which will remain locked during the prohibited burning season. Concrete pads are in place, ready for the installation of shelters, which will be completed in February. CCTV will also be installed in February to enhance security for all visitors.
