In May, the Shire of Boddington asked for Community feedback regarding the refuse site opening hours. This consultation was carried out through a survey, allowing community members to vote for the hours that would best suit them.
The consensus from the results indicated that the community needed earlier and longer opening times on weekends. So we listened!
After reviewing the survey results, the Shire of Boddington is proposing the changes listed below:
Current Opening Hours:
- Tuesday: 10am - 3pm
- Thursday: 11am - 3pm
- Saturday: 11am - 3pm
- Sunday: 11am - 3pm
Proposed New Opening Hours (Effective early August):
- Wednesday: 8am - 1pm
- Saturday: 8am - 1pm
- Sunday: 8am - 1pm
Comments on the proposal can be submitted to the Shire of Boddington either via the online form at https://www.boddington.wa.gov.au/communityconsultation by visiting the Shire of Boddington Administration Office. Submissions close Monday 29 July 2024.
