Australia Day in Boddington

Australia Day in Boddington is a free event open to the entire community, offering a chance for both reflection and celebration for locals and visitors alike. The reflective portion of the event begins at the Boddington Rodeo Ground with a Welcome to Country, acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land. This is followed by an address from the Shire President, highlighting community achievements through the community awards to recognise outstanding contributions, and capped off with a community breakfast.

Following the formalities, the celebration component kicks off at the Boddington Swimming Pool, offering free entry for all attendees. A complimentary community lunch is served, providing an opportunity for attendees to gather and connect. This component also features live music, entertainment, and a variety of fun activities for children.
