Boddington Town Centre Upgrade: A Community Priority Takes Shape

Published on Thursday, 2 May 2024 at 2:55:53 PM

Through Community Consultation for the development of the 2022-2032 Council Plan, it became evident that upgrading the Boddington Town Centre was a top priority.

Following the recent installation of the promotional bins, and the removal of the fence around the Boddington Old School, further

elements identified within the Town Centre Revitalisation masterplan are about to commence. 3 murals will be installed throughout the town in May and June, 12 trees will be planted in the main street in late May, and a pull-up banner system will be installed on existing light poles in June. The banner system will facilitate the rotation of promotional flags without the need for machinery, allowing a safe and efficient method of creating a colourful display in the main street.

This initiative has received partial funding from the Federal Government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI).
