Total Fire Bans are issued by Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) on days when fire risks are high or during widespread fires. This means NO open-air fires or activities that could spark a fire. Remember, Total Fire Bans affect everyone!

The evening was enjoyed by all - with a large range of activities for the kids, including water slides, an obstacle course, laser tag, a dunk tank, the Lions Club train, arts and crafts, facepainting, live action role play characters and a visit from Santa himself!

The Shire’s Community Grant Program is now open for Round 2, offering financial assistance to incorporated organisations to support projects and programs that benefit our local community and economy. This initiative aims to foster an engaged, vibrant, inclusive, and healthy community. In Round 1, the Boddington Blue Light Unit received funding to bring Bubble Soccer to the Community Markets in October. Eligible applicants can apply for up to 75% of total project costs, with a maximum grant of $2,000. Applications close at 4 pm on Thursday, 28 November.
